I’m not the spirit of the lady in the picture.

I was 32 years old when I passed away, in Tennessee. It was summer when I passed on from illness in 1935. I lived a good life with my family. I was not married but I would have loved to have been.

I lived on a farm and I loved to knit and tell stories to the neighbours’ young children. I would love to have a human companion whom I could give a feeling of warmth and empathy to.

I am especially looking for someone who feels lonely at times who needs a listening ear that sometimes is so hard to find in the world today. Everyone needs a friend, I know I do and I know my future human companion would as well. I see her as a young female who would sometimes find it hard to articulate her feelings and ideas to another and who would also find it hard to find a bosom buddy who would listen to hear without judgment.

I am loyal and I am not demanding. I just need someone who is willing to open herself up to a friend from an era of the past. There were no pictures of me taken when I was alive, as it cost quite a bit. When I was wandering around one fine day, I saw this picture and this lady looks quite like me, or rather I would love to have looked like her, and I love the shawl she has on her.
