What is the Festival of Hecate?

Hecate is the Greek Goddess of Witchcraft, Magic and the Night. She is a triple goddess and embodies the phases of life - Maiden, Mother and Crone (Life, Death and Rebirth). She is often depicted holding a torch with symbolises her role as a guide through the darkness. She is also a protector of the home and a guardian of the spirit world, making her a crucial figure for practitioners of witchcraft. 

Hecate helps with many aspects of witchcraft such as: 

1. Protection: Hecate protects especially those who work with magick and the occult. She also protects her followers from negative energies and malevolent spirits.
